Freelance copywriter, writer and editor

As a freelance copywriter, I work with brands on their copy and content strategy - from social posts for fashion houses to newsletters for interior brands and tone of voice development for start-ups. Previous clients include COS, Lancome, ESPA and Aperol.

I’m also an experienced lifestyle journalist and write regularly for The Telegraph, Country & Town House and ELLE UK. I write about various subjects but particularly enjoy writing about beauty and travel.

  • Alex Rhodes, Copy Manager at COS

Ginny is an expert at what she does and has a wealth of knowledge from her time spent in the industry. She is approachable, reliable and efficient and we have loved having her on the team!

  • Sara Deambrosis, Head of Design at Tom & Co

Ginny is the great copywriter you can trust at any time, with every client, and be sure she will deliver the perfect copy for each job she works on. She is always nice, friendly and incredibly efficient even under pressure. Her knowledge of the beauty and wellbeing industry, combined with her experience in social media, has been a massive asset for many of the campaigns we worked on together. I would definitely recommend her and looking forward to many more projects together.

  • Lucy Lane, Copywriter at Momentum

Always reliable and extremely efficient, Ginny always delivers brilliant copy, that's on brief and on tone. What's also clear to me is her strength within Health & Beauty; from writing and editing Social Media Calendars through to extensive research and copywriting for a series of online articles. I would absolutely recommend Ginny for short or long term freelance copywriting / social gigs.

  • David Stell, Creative Director, Hangar Seven

Ginny was a brilliant copywriter that I could completely rely on to work very comfortably with different art directors as well as on her own when needed. A talent that is not easily found, a person who is not only likeable and trusted but very comfortable with what she does. It is seldom that this kind of talent comes around and I very much look forward to working with her again.

  • Emma Heywood, Co-Founder, Beauty Kubes

I was so glad to have found Ginny! We were really impressed by the experience she has within the beauty industry in all aspects of content creation and copywriting. Ginny helped us with a brand presentation and created our tone of voice document, which has proved to be a key tool. Her range of experience is really diverse, so we have also chosen Ginny to re-write all of our product descriptions and future product descriptions. Ginny is extremely professional, friendly and approachable and we look forward to working with her on our future copywriting projects.

  • Lucy Cortey, Project Manager, Mr & Mrs Media

I chose Ginny to write and edit a luxury magazine project for a five-star hotel in London. I was impressed by her portfolio of work and her creative writing style. Ginny wrote the entire copy for the magazine in record time covering lifestyle and trend articles (travel, beauty, cars, food, health). She was very efficient and managed the expectations of very demanding clients. Ginny is professional, flexible and very pleasant, it was a real pleasure working with her. I would absolutely recommend Ginny for short or long term freelance copywriting…

About me

After completing a Fashion Journalism degree at UCAA, I worked at the trend forecasting house WGSN writing about fashion and beauty trends. Since then, I’ve worked as an editor for some of the world’s biggest news agencies as well as lifestyle magazines Psychologies, Design Anthology UK, Coast and Good Homes. I’ve also worked with the Corinthia Hotel London as the Launch Editor of their in-house magazine.

I’m a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers and have been lucky enough to travel the world reviewing luxury hotels for the likes of The Telegraph and Country & Town House.

Outside of work, I love to surf, horse ride and travel as much as I can.
