Hello! Thanks for visiting my little website.
Based in SE London but frequently Devon too (where I’m from), I’m a freelance editor, writer, social media consultant and health coach.
I specialise in travel and motoring writing. Get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’ve worked in lifestyle writing and editing for 10 years, from international news agencies such as MSN, where I was Lifestyle Editor and wrote about fashion, cars, travel and food, to trend forecasting at WGSN, where I would predict fashion, beauty and travel trends and give clients advice on everything from where to find the best ramen in Tokyo to the latest makeup looks, to my most recent role as Digital Editor at Psychologies and Coast magazine where I was brought on to relaunch both websites, produce online content, introduce social media strategy and train up the magazine teams in web journalism.
One of my writing specialisms is travel. Last year I worked as the Launch Editor of Corinthia Hotel London magazine, a new luxury lifestyle magazine, and I regularly write travel pieces for Wanderlust, DK Travel and Avis Inspires. I love writing about unusual foods and destinations, independent hotels, spas and road trips. My travel work has taken me to the IceHotel, Tutankhamun’s tomb, Bali and all across the UK.
Being a complete car geek I also write a lot of car related stuff, from car reviews for Wheels for Women to automotive trend analysis for Canvas8 and industry news for Tu-Automotive. I’ve been lucky enough to drive everything from Aston Martin’s and Ferrari’s to the latest launches from Audi but i’m also obsessed with vintage cars from the eighties. I once took a bright yellow Porsche 911 all the way from London to Orkney in Scotland and wrote about it for MSN Cars.
I also do an array of other things, from copywriting for clients such as Hearst Made, Boots and M&S to social media consultancy for University College London and several food bloggers and artists.
I’m a practising Health and Wellness Coach. What’s that, you say? Click here.
