My background:

I’ve worked in lifestyle writing and editing for 10 years, from international news agencies such as MSN, where I was Lifestyle Editor and wrote about fashion, cars, travel and food, to trend forecasting at WGSN, where I would predict fashion, beauty and travel trends and give clients advice on everything from where to find the best ramen in Tokyo to the latest makeup looks, to my most recent role as Digital Editor at Psychologies and Coast magazine where I was brought on to relaunch both websites, produce online content, introduce social media strategy and train up the magazine teams in web journalism.

Freelance life:

I specialise in travel. Editing roles include the New Hotels section of Design Anthology UK magazine, issue 2, Contributing Editor at luxury women’s travel guide Citizen Femme, Launch Editor, Corinthia Hotel London magazine (a new luxury lifestyle magazine for the Corinthia Hotel London, frequently voted the most luxurious hotel in the world by Conde Nast Traveller).

I regularly write and take photos for travel publications such as Design Anthology UK, Harper’s Bazaar, Olive magazine, Rough Guides, WGSN Lifestyle, Wanderlust, DK Travel and Avis Inspires, and review hotels for i-escape. I love writing about eco-luxe hotels, spas and road trips.

I also do an array of other things, from proofreading, trend forecasting and copywriting for clients such as Procter & GambleBoots and M&S, to social media consultancy for University College London and several beauty bloggers and artists.

My work as a Content Marketing Consultant sees me consult for travel, health, beauty and nutrition brands on social media, SEO, website and content strategy.

Being a complete car geek I also write a lot of car related stuff, from car reviews for my blog and Wheels for Women to automotive trend analysis for Canvas8 and industry news for Tu-Automotive. I once took a bright yellow Porsche 911 all the way from London to Orkney in Scotland and wrote about it for MSN Cars.
